The Blooming Prairie Foundation, a self-sustaining non-profit organization, was created by the members of the Blooming Prairie Warehouse Cooperative with the purpose of education and enlightening buying clubs, cooperatives and privately owned businesses.
The Board is committed to continuing to promote the work and values that have been the underpinnings of the cooperative and natural foods community. By supporting and funding the work of like-minded organizations, the BPF hopes to help continue to find ways to extend financial support to an ever-widening community of organizations passionate about creating a sustainable present and future. Board members have worked in co-ops and natural food locations for many years and believe the Foundation can help you make a difference in this world.
The Board of the Blooming Prairie Foundation is pleased to report that they have awarded nearly $4 Million since 2005, to promote innovative ideas, practices and procedures in the area of organic and natural foods in order to further the health of the people, the health of the environment and cooperative ideals.
